Brandon Marshall Sleeper Alert
Although, Brandon Marshall has begun to age, he has a good chance of cracking the top 12 WRs for 2017. Everyone I’ve spit this take at has called me a f***ing idiot. I may be an idiot, but there’s no reason other than age for BMarsh not have a tremendous season.
First off, he and Eric Decker broke Randy Moss and Chris Carter’s TD duo record. So if Marshall and an Edelman wannabe can break records, why can’t he do it with OBJ? Not to mention Eli Manning is a major step up from Ryan Fitzpatrick. I know Eli isn’t Tom Brady or anything, but the guy can still spin it. With OBJ always getting doubled, Shepard drawing major attention, and Evan Engram coming in hot, I’d say the field will be wide open for the veteran. Marshall also has been top 7 in red zone targets every year for the last 10.
Value For ADP
I’m not saying run out and draft BMarsh in the 2nd or 3rd round, his ADP is currently late sixth. I see a lot of value with Marshall moving to a more stable QB situation. Don’t forget he has never found himself in the playoffs. His competitive nature combined the Giants youth will give him a real chance at losing his postseason virginity.
If this guy is on your radar, make sure you know the people you’re drafting with. He might be taken higher than his ADP by someone just for the name value. Don’t let your rival accidentally stumble upon the comeback player of the year.
