James Harden Sued For Alleged Robbery

On Monday, Moses Malone Jr. entered an amendment to a lawsuit he had filed in September 2016. The original lawsuit alleges that he was beaten and robbed near the V Live Houston strip club on the evening of June 25, 2016. The suit states Malone was denied admission into the club. Malone was then instructed by the club’s security guard to go to an area where he was then repeatedly kicked and punched by three men with guns. The assailants then stole between $15,000 – $50,000 in jewelry.

The son of NBA great, Moses Malone, is now seeking $1million in damages from Houston Rockets star guard, James Harden, who he believes masterminded the assault and robbery.

The amendment was filed after new details have been brought to light about the night in question. Apparently, Harden was present at the strip club when the beating occurred. It further states that Harden paid the club’s security guard $20,000 to initiate the attack. Malone’s attorney, George Farah, stated that Malone believes the attack was retaliation for a Facebook comment he made which bashed Harden for charging $249 per child for a youth basketball camp.

Four individuals have been charged in connection with the assault…Harden not being one of them. Police have not connected Harden to the incident and no charges have been filed against him at this time.

Something about this story just doesn’t sound right. I’m sure there will be more details that will emerge in the coming days. What’s your take on Moses Malone Jr. suing James Harden? Comment below.
