We Were Sharks drop tantalizing acoustic version of “Bridge Burner”

Full discloser… We Were Sharks are my homies. My homies from the great Canadian north. These dudes are everything that’s RIGHT about pop-punk. Their song Bridge Burner is one of my favorites and this acoustic version is perfection. Often times, I find that “acoustic versions” of songs are just thrown together. This song lends itself to an acoustic version and the band put though, time and energy into making it. Enjoy.

File this one under “must listen.”

Alt Press: “The original version of “Bridge Burner” is an amped-up cautionary tale with hooks and attitude to spare. This acoustic take, which boasts melancholy overtones, is also something to behold. Amazing what a lack of amps and caffeine can sometimes do to a song.  We Were Sharks singer Randy Frobel explained the resonance of the song and what’s in store on the Not A Chance deluxe edition this version is featured on.”

Have a great Thursday!
