I didn’t think that I’d see Jay Cutler on an NFL field again. In my mind he was just going to ride off into the preverbal sunset and live his perfect life. Cutler was never a winner, he never broke into the “elite” quarterback club and he was always the guy who had “endless potential.” A lot of Cutler’s lack-luster career can be blamed on poor coaching and roast mismanagement.
When Cutler was at his best though, he had Coach Adam Gase as his offensive coordinator. Gase has been in contact with Cutler personally.
Can’t we just get this guy a reality TV with his wife and perfect child.
Jay Cutler had one of his best seasons with Adam Gase in Chicago. One of the best coaching jobs at that position. Cutler in MIA makes sense

Here’s why Jay Cutler will probably be a Dolphin in 2017:
- The Culter/Adam Gase connection is real
- Ryan Tannehill’s leg is going to require significant time to heal, regardless of what the Dolphins want to admit
- Apparently, the Colin Kaepernick scarlet letter is real
MiamiHerald.com “Even as they continue to weigh what to do with starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and his injured left knee, the Miami Dolphins are already reaching out to multiple veteran quarterback options, with former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler being prominent among those.
Coach Adam Gase has been in contact with Cutler personally the past two days as the two men have worked on rekindling a relationship that helped Cutler throw 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 2015 when he was the starting QB for Chicago and Gase was the offensive coordinator.
That year helped both men because it rehabilitated Cutler’s diminishing career and reputation, and it also sealed Gase’s reputation as something of a quarterback guru after he had success with Peyton Manning as well as Cutler.“
