I don’t care if he’s a 6 foot guard. I don’t care if you want a true point guard and not a scoring guard. Russ Smith just turned the “Russdiculousness” up to an all-time high. The dude went full on Kobe and dropped 81 points last night. I don’t care if it was in the Chinese NBL league. Someone give this dude a tryout. He’s AVERAGING 61 points a game. AVERAGING!
If he could average 1/3 of that off the bench for an NBA team, he’d be worth his weight in gold. I mean, the Eastern Conference has basically taken a vacation during free agency. Why not take a long shot by the name of Russ Smith?

Yahoo: “Whether it’s leading the New York Catholic League in scoring two straight years in high school, averaging 23.6 points per game during four seasons at Louisville or erupting for a D-League single-game record 65 points last year, Russ Smith has always gotten buckets.
Now the former Louisville star is piling up points in China at an unprecedented pace.
In five games with Luoyang of the NBL, China’s second-tier professional basketball league, Smith is averaging a head-turning 61.4 points. The 6-foot combo guard went off for a season-best 81 points on Wednesday in Luoyang’s 142-130 victory over Jiangsu.”
Let me repeat this: Russ Smith dropped 81 points and is averaging 61.
Do the Sixers have any room left? Trust the god damn process.
