Below are today’s fantasy baseball updates and injury news on your favorite MLB players.
TOP STORY: The Suzuki Samurai
Kurt Suzuki hit his second solo home run of Sunday’s game in the 12th inning, propelling the Atlanta Braves to a 4-3 win over the Oakland A’s. The Braves swept the three-game series as visitors in Oakland, but the best part about Suzuki’s performance? It was against his former team.
The catcher finished the night 2-5 while hitting his 5th and 6th homers of the season.
The Bravos, which are 13-6 in their last nineteen games, are one game under .500 on the year and sit in second place in the NL East. They face division-leading rivals, Washington Nationals, in a four-game series later in the week before the All-Star break.
