So, it’s officially summer time. Well, maybe it’s not official, I’m never sure how that works out with calendars and stuff. But, Memorial Day has come and gone. It was in the 90’s today and summer activities seem to be in full swing. So, in my book, it’s officially summer. Got it? Good. I’m making a bold prediction and official proclamation: It’s the summer of the Hawaiian Shirt.

Now, I wouldn’t call myself a fashion guy. But, I think I’ve got my finger on the pulse and I’m generally a few months to a year ahead of the curve when it comes to trends. That being said, I’m in my 30’s now. So, I may have slipped to the point where I’m only a few months or weeks ahead of the general public. In order to let you in on the next thing that will be hot in the streets, I’m writing this blog.
Get yourself a Hawaiian shirt. In fact, get yourself multiple Hawaiian shirts. Don’t go with a novelty shirt either, get one that’s high quality, made out of light breathable material and let the summer over take you. You won’t regret it. I promise.
So, I did some Googling and it turns out that I actually missed the Hawaiian shirt boat, by about a year. Apparently, last summer, was actually the Summer of the Hawaiian shirt.
Well, screw those hipsters, fashionistas and their over priced 2016 Hawaiian shirts. We normal people can now go out there and get our Hawaiian shirts off the discount rack at Kohls. Jokes on them. My shirt was $13.99. Suckers.
We’re all about the common man are at The Point After Show. So, now that Hawaiian shirts are now accessible to the masses, at affordable prices. Let’s do it. We’re going to make 2017 the summer of the Hawaiian shirt.
